Tiki was the first mortal man, formed by Tumatauenga, and endowed with life. Tumatauenga, is one of the sons of Father Sky and Mother earth. Tiki stands for fertility, the frequently occurring hands placed on the loins is a direct reference to fertility. Tiki is a good luck charm meant to keep evil spirits away. The base can be engraved, for an extra $35.
A Korowai will be gifted with this piece and can be used to go around the piece for presentation purposes or over the name when presenting the piece for a 21st, etc..
